What a win! After being disqualified from her semi-final match, Serena, along with Venus, come back to win the US Open Women’s Doubles Tournament. This sisters beat Cara Black and Liezel Huber 6-2, 6-2, making this win their 10th Grand Slam Doubles Championship. Shortly before the match Serena wrote a letter on her website.

Hey Guys,How are you? I understand that I may have let some of you all down in regards to my behavior during the semifinals of the US OPEN. I make no excuses in regards to my word choice that night, but I am sincerely sorry. I hope that you all are able to forgive me. Also, thank you all for your continued support & understanding. It means the world to me that you all are still in my corner as I stand on the line, after displaying actions outside of my character.”
