I hope I am clear when I say how utterly disgusted and appalled I am at the mass media circus around the Caster Semenya story. I refuse to post “results” or other similar information here because, well you have plenty of other options for that. I just want to discuss…what happened. Are we forgetting that she is just 18 years old? This media coverage could possibly ruin her life. I can understand if she was PURPOSEFULLY put into the women bracket knowing she had an unfair advantage…to that I say let justice be served. HOOOOOOOWWWWEVER, I don’t think that is the case, especially with what has been released so far.
How unprofessional of the IAAF to allow all of this in the public domain in the first place. But their hypocrisy will be revealed…just give me some more time on that one.
Regardless of the mayhem, Caster was on that “it” girl status when she made this statement…
“God made me the way I am and I accept myself. I am who I am and I am proud of myself. I don’t want to talk about the tests. I’m not even thinking about them.”
After that, what else needs to be said. Team Caster!
